As a mom to active young ones, one of our family’s favorite California Family Fitness amenities is the basketball court feature.
If the weather is bad (i.e. raining, cold, hot) we can play basketball indoors. We just need to be respectful and mindful of the adults playing a game on the court. We prefer taking our game of chance outside.
I love how simple it is to rent a basketball and then we are off to play ball.
If you don’t have a basketball, you can rent a basketball at the front desk by simply using your keys. You hand them your keys. They hold them as an act of good faith that you will return the ball. When you are finished with the ball you return it and get your keys. Simple. Free. Fun!
The Kidz Klub in the Elk Grove location, does have a kid sized basketball hoop that my boys love to play and master their skills. Yet we all love the challenge of getting the big basketball in the big hoop on the outside court.
Playing basketball as a family, whether it is a simple game of horse or learning to take turns with our shots, is something we enjoy doing at our local California Family Fitness.
