Voted Best Local Band of 2014 on KCRA’s-A List, this Irish pub rock punk band throws down some high energy traditional celtic music fit to move you. If you want to lift heavy and push your limits, BlackEyed Dempseys should definitely make the top of your playlist.

Some Fear None

Simply...rocks. Original Music, great energy, and some not-so-surprising local talent. Placer High grad Gina Salatino, who has been playing guitar since the age of 12, heads up base guitar for Some Fear None. You wouldn’t know it to look at her rocking on stage, but she’s also a family dentist. Roadhouse Rats

These four El Dorado County natives do a killer job covering some of the greatest rock bands of all time. Want some AC/DC in your ear while you lift? Or some KISS on the elliptical? How about some Tom Petty to back up your burpees? If it hit the top of the charts and everyone was a fan, it’s probably covered by the Roadhouse Rats. And they do a great job of it.

Country, blues, and folk all find a place in Jonny Mojo’s performance. He’s from the Sierra Nevada Foothills and his music reflects the heritage of the area with an upbeat, downhome rhythm that makes you want to get up and move.
