Today we're delighted to introduce you to one of Cal Fit's top trainers, Chris Foppiano. Chris works with members at our Rocklin club, and he loves working out and helping other people reach their health and fitness goals. Read on to find out if he might be just the person to help you reach your goals.Chris, who is 28 years old, calls Roseville his hometown. He grew up with a love of the outdoors, and especially enjoys camping. His personal motivation for staying healthy is his love of a good challenge. "If it doesn't challenge you it doesn't change you," Chris says.
When Chris needs to fit in a quick workout, he likes to do a "Snatch Doubles" version of an every-minute-on-the-minute (or EMOM) workout. His favorite piece of gym equipment is the barbell, but after a gym session, he likes to head to Chipotle for some flavorful protein and carbs.
As a trainer, Chris finds a lot of satisfaction in "Seeing people reach their goals and the happiness that it brings them." His advice to those just beginning their fitness journey is to enjoy the journey. "Be patient and master the mundane," he suggests.
