A self-proclaimed nerd, this trainer says his hobbies include both sports and biomechanics. His fitness journey began during his freshman year of college at UC Davis, when Santos admits to gaining, “More than the ‘freshman fifteen’.” Realizing that lifestyle wasn’t the way he wanted to spend his 20’s, Santos started to be more active and eat healthier. His experiences in getting healthier inspired Santos to share his love of fitness with others as a trainer.
This trainer's favorite piece of equipment is something simple: resistance bands. And after a good workout, you'll find Santos noshing on a peanut and butter jelly sandwich.
When asked about what he enjoys most about working with Cal Fit members, Santos shared that for him, it's, "Being able to not just see but also hear the differences that people notice in themselves or how they move. A fitness journey isn't always about weight loss," he explains. "For some it's about reducing pain or regaining function of certain joints. Regardless of the goal, I am always willing and able to help."
