We’re delighted to continue our weekly nutrition series with Stacey Maedge! Last week, Stacey upgraded the morning smoothie with ingredients that boost energy and help keep you satisfied. This week, she’s sharing an egg frittata recipe that you can throw together in a matter of minutes, and save to enjoy throughout the week.
We’ve enjoyed hearing about your smoothie recipes on social media—make sure you visit our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to find additional smoothie options from our members.
Let’s chat about breakfast. It’s easier than we care to admit to skip the most important meal of the day, or to grab coffee and a donut in the rush to get on with your day. Unfortunately, that sugar and caffeine rush is going to result in a mid-morning crash—not to mention all the empty calories!
Stacey has come up with a delicious alternative with this Breakfast Frittata. It just takes a few minutes to prep individual servings ahead of time, then you can store them in the fridge to grab for a quick, nutritious breakfast on the go.
Eggs and Your Power Breakfast
One thing we love about this recipe is there are sooooo many options! Add in a variety of veggies and meats for the flavor experience of your choice. Vegetarian? Stacey has meatless options, too.
